Its 1.0x magnification eliminates the conversion factor, so you can quickly and accurately assess cup-to-disc ratios, examine and assess the nerve head. While the field of view extends to the equator, a dynamic examination paired with various gaze positions lets you easily continue your view to the mid periphery.
