SALINE solution is recommended for rinsing all types of contact lenses and lens cases. SALINE has a balanced pH, an osmolarity similar to that of human tears and contains phosphate buffer, which is widely used due to its presence in natural human tear film, which improves ocular tolerability.

BENEFITS

• This formulation does not contain any of the general preservatives normally used in multipurpose solutions such as PHMB, polyquad, alexidine and chlorexhidine.
• Sodium chlorite is a transient preservative agent which, upon contact with the eye (ocular surface), is naturally degraded into nontoxic molecules and tear components such as sodium chloride, oxygen and water.
