Ophthalmic antibiotic ointment containing chlortetracycline hydrochloride. For the treatment of keratitis, conjunctivitis and blepharitis caused by: Staphylococcus spp, Streptococcus spp., Proteus spp., Pseudomonas spp. Sensitive to chlortetracycline, for use in horses, dogs and cats. Bacteriostatic action - interferes with protein synthesis in the rapidly dividing bacterial cell and has both time and concentration-dependent effects. For dogs and cats, apply 0.5-2 cm of ointment (depending on the size of the animal) and for horses apply 2-3 cm. Ointment should be applied four times a day for 5 days.
